Polypropylene Glycol (PPG) Series Product

Polypropylene Glycols are polymers of propylene oxide. They are clear, viscous liquids with low pour points. Viscosity increases and water solubility decreases with increasing molecular weight.

Properties and Applications

1.PPG series dissolve in organic solvents like toluene, ethanol, trichlorethylene;PPG 200,400 and 600 are soluble in water, have function of lubricating, solubilization, defoaming, anti-static properties etc.. PPG-200 can be used in the pigment dispersant.

2,In cosmetics industry, PPG 400 can be used as emollients, softeners, lubricants.

3.Use as anti-foaming agents in a paint and hydraulic oil, anti-foaming agents for synthetic rubber and latex processing , refrigerant and coolant for heat transfer fluid , viscosity modifiers etc.

4.Use as intermediates in esterification, etherification and condensation reaction

5.Use as a release agent, solubilizer, synthetic oil additive,water-soluble cutting fluid, rollers oil, hydraulic oil additives, high temperature lubricants,internal 

and external lubricants for rubbers etc.

6.PPG-2000 ~ 8000 has excellent properties in lubricating, anti-foam, heat resistance, cold resistance etc.

7.PPG-3000 ~ 8000 is mainly used as a component of polyether combination and in the production of polyurethane foam;

8.PPG-3000 ~ 8000 can be used to produce plasticizers, lubricants, directly or after esterification

9.Use as binders for cosmetics, pharmaceutical, oil agent etc.

Packaging&Storage:200kg/Iron drum.It’s non-toxic, non-flammable, as a general chemical storage and transportation. Store in a dry place. Shelf life of 2 years.
