Introduction

1) What is Textile grade cellulose diacetate(DACT)?

Textile grade cellulose diacetate is DCA applied to filament and tow, with combined acetic acid 55%.

The Product brand of DACP

There are totally two kinds of DACT, Namely “NC0” and ”LVI”. NC0 is used to fliament and LVI is used to tow.  

The appearance of DACT is whilte flake.Now, the raw material of DACT is purchased from abroad well-organized forest company.

The process of Textile production

DACP is dissolved in an acetone and water solution to form a concentrated solution(this viscous solution is referred to as dope).

The dope solution is filtered to remove the slightest impurities and extruded through microscopic holes in metal spinnerets. 

The number of orifices in a spinneret will vary based on the desired yarn denier.

In this dry spinning process a thread line passes through heated cabinets called metiers to remove acetone. 

Then filament or tow is formed after the solvent evaporated.

2)What is Plastic Grade Cellulose Diacetate(DACP)?

Plastic grade cellulose diacetate is DCA applied to glass frame, hand tools, magic tape, 

lacquer and other human contacted articles, with combined acetic acid 55%.

There are totally 5 kinds of DACP, Namely “PC/FG” , ”CS”, “LS/CF”,"LS/EC", “RTW”. The quality of 

products can meet different level and current applications of market.

The appearance of DACP is white powder, and around 250mm particle size. It is with excellent flow ability and plasticity.

The process of plastic articles

1.Primary process
Basically, there 3 kinds of processing method for DACP. The process is chosen based on the final application and form 

of the article. But commonly, cellulose acetate needs plasticization prior to the processing, The plasticizers are normally 

liquids with high boiling points and low vapor pressure and characterized , in any case, by high affinity with cellulose acetate. 

By varying the characteristics of the cellulose acetate, choosing the typology and quantity of plasticizers, adding colorants, 

UV stabilizers, inhibitors, metallic dust, optic agent, brightening agents etc, the plastic that results can vary enormously and 

the creative possibilities are practically unlimited. With all additives mixed uniformly and giving enough time to plasticize, the

powder is then going to next steps.

3)What is Plastic Grade Cellulose Triacetate(TACP)?

Plastic grade cellulose triacetate is TAC applied to protective or compensation film of polarizer, with combined acetic acid above 59%.

Usually, The appearance of TACP is semi-transparent flake. The raw material of current TACP is cottom linter and purchased from the best cotton

linter producer. Based on this, our 

TACP has excellent purities, optical properties, and casting property.

The process of TAC film

After TACP is completely dissolved in a mixed solvent mainly consisting of dichloromethane, the impurities in the dope will be removed with a precise 

filter cloth. Then, the transparent dope will be casted on a metal band. And of course, the solvent will be recovered during processing.
