Product Description:
Caustic Soda, also called sodium hydroxide. Pure solid caustic soda are mainly white flake or pearl. Solid caustic soda has a strong hygroscopic, soluble in water, dissolved when the heat, alkaline aqueous solution, a greasy feel; soluble in ethanol and glycerol; insoluble in acetone, ether.
Product Usage:
Caustic soda used in the manufacture of chemicals, paper, soap and detergent, artificial silk and cellophane, processing bauxite-alumina system, but also for mercerized textiles. For removing hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans sulfide in the oil refining industry. Used in food processing (fruits and vegetables peeled) and refined vegetable oil.
Can replace some soda ash for making glass. Reclaimed rubber processing, waste water treatment and the acid anion exchange resin regeneration.
