It is the extract from the fruit of Silybum marianum (L) Gacntm](milk thistle seed); light yellow powder or crystalline powder; odorless, tasteless, easily soluble in acetone, ethanol and alcohols; hard soluble in chloroform or water. Main chemical composition is silymarin(Silybin) C25H22O10 .
Appearance : light yellow fine powder.
Composition and use : Mainly contains silymarin, silidianin and silychristin. silymarin has good curative effect on chronic/acute hepatitis, cirrhosis of liver, fatty liver, cholelithiasis and cholangitis
